ASTV | MONSTER MAGNET – Tim Cronin (ex-drummer/vocalist/)

On this episode of Aftershocks, Matt sits down with ex-drummer/vocalist and original MONSTER MAGNET member Tim Cronin to talk about the band’s double-vinyl release ‘Test Patterns: vol.1’ on God Unknown Records. Tim talks about the decision to release the record, led by ex-Monster Magnet guitarist John McBain, in re-releasing the demo version of the bands extended psychedelic-drone track ‘Tab’ off of their 1989 demo ‘Forget About Life, I’m High On Dope’. Cronin discusses the bands formation from the ashes of frontman Dave Wyndorf’s previous band SHRAPNEL as well their early years as a three piece playing the local club scenes in NYC and New Jersey and much more.
