On this episode of Aftershocks TV, Matt sits down with guitarist/vocalist T.R. Morton and bassist Mark Cave from Virginia Beach stoner rock heavyweights FREEDOM HAWK. Morton and Cave discuss the band’s heralded new release ‘Take All You Can’ as well as the album’s first two singles/videos ‘Age Of The Idiot’ and the title track. The guys talk about their experiences getting stuck on the road during the onset of the pandemic in March 2020 and how they were able to take advantage of the time off from touring to secure their own rehearsal studio that lead to the release of the track ‘Liftoff’. Mark and T.R. give their take on Freedom Hawk being labeled the ‘Fu Manchu of the east coast’ as well as getting into a discussion on the early goings of the band in the early-to-mid 2000’s when was the epicenter of the heavy rock scene and much more.
